The Commission proposal for Horizon 2020 foresees that the priority "societal challenges" is also implemented through public-private partnerships (PPPs).

Selection of PPPs will be based on a set of clearly defined criteria, including the added value of action at Union level, the scale of impact on industrial competitiveness, sustainable growth and socio-economic issues, and the long-term commitment from all partners based on a shared vision and clearly defined objectives.
The present consultation seeks key views relating to the launch of a PPP in the
life sciences research area under Horizon 2020 and what areas should be addressed.
The planned PPP would implement part of the "health, demographic change and wellbeing" challenge.
Enterprise Europe Brussels invites companies, organisations and researchers active in life sciences research and innovation to participate from 11.07.2012 to 04.10.2012 and open at the following address:
