By collaborating with Solifin, Enterprise Europe Brussels helps entrepreneurs to both access finance and foster sustainability, killing two birds with one stone. A follow up from 2020

Why?

Sustainability is with digitalisation one of the core pillar and leverage of the EU industrial Strategy and SME strategy. This is why supporting the sustainability transition has become a key priority for the Enterprise Europe Network as explained in this article. Because adopting a more sustainable business models can create additional value for all SMEs and not just eco-innovators.

But we also know that eco-innovators are struggling to access finance, especially in the current circumstances with the Covid-19 Crisis. At Enterprise Europe Brussels we support entrepreneurs to innovate and grow sustainably therefore also to access finance for their innovation in collaboration with NCP Brussels.

This is why Enterprise Europe Brussels is collaborating with Solifin, the Belgian platform for social impact investors. Their mission is to simplify the process of fund raising and better finance the enterprises which contribute to tackle our current social and environmental challenges.

What?

The partnership with Solifin started for the organisation of the pitching session as part of our yearly brokerage event  E²Tech4SmartCities

But the collaboration is continuing as Solifin organises every month a pitching sessions with the impact investors most matching the profiles of the candidates. A short introduction to impact fundraising is also provided.

When and where ?

The next session are organised online on 27/1/2021 and 24/2/2021.

Registration should be done at the latest 3 weeks before the pitching sessions, so respectively before 6/1/2021 and 3/2/2021. More sessions will be organised in 2021.
