C’est la Procédure d’auto-certification douanière ‘REX’ de la Commission européenne afin de jouir des tarifs préférentiels négociés dans les accords commerciaux de l’Union européenne #FTA – Free Trade Agreement.

Cette procédure est d’autant plus importante qu’elle s’applique à l’accord de libre-échange UE – Canada #CETA et fort probablement pour l’accord UE – Japon dans le futur.

Depuis le 1er janvier 2017, le système d’auto-certification de l’origine préférentielle, REX, est progressivement mis en place dans le cadre de certains accords de libre-échange. A terme, les preuves d’origine préférentielle seront exclusivement établies par des exportateurs enregistrés dans la base de données REX (Registered Export System) de la Commission européenne.

L’accord de libre-échange UE-Canada (CETA) est le premier accord bilatéral mettant en œuvre cette auto-certification.

Si vous exportez vers le Canada, vous pouvez bénéficier de tarifs préférentiels pour autant que vous soyez enregistré dans REX.
