In Economy, Innovation

In the framework of the EU-GIVE project, Enterprise Europe Brussels c/o hub.brussels organised on 24th January morning a « bootcamp », an interactive and collective workshop on the collaborative economy.

This event was targeting

  • entrepreneurs having launched or willing to launch very soon a collective economy platform with headquarter in the Region of Brussels ;
  • who wanted to contribute to the sustainable development (economic but also social and environmental) of Brussels;
  • who wanted to improve and deepen their business model;
  • who were interested in sharing experiences with other Brussels platform and maybe develop cooperation.

This workshop allowed the participants to test an innovative tool developed by the designers from the EU Policy Lab. The EU Policy Lab aims at fostering creativity and innovation in the preparation of European policies done by the European Commission. But the tool is also aimed at helping platform managers to think about innovation and improvements notably regarding digital and non digital assets, users and service providers and the common good. Enterprise Europe Brussels is very grately to the EU Policy Lab for having made the tool available to the participants.

Unfortunately, winter-related difficulties partly led to a diminished audience. 3 stakeholders were also present as part of the collaboration of Enterprise Europe Brussels with 2 regional projects Platform Coop Brussels and City4CoEN. Nevertheless, the participants expressed interest in the tool and in deepening its use as part of the coming individual coaching that will take place in the EU-GIVE project. The objective of fostering networking among platforms was also met by the bootcamp.

More information to come about the services to be delivered in EU-GIVE in a coming article.
