The Future Hamburg Award is aimed at fostering innovative approaches towards increasing the sustainability of metropolitan regions. The city invites the world’s best innovators to address important urban challenges in logistics & mobility, smart & sustainable ports and green hydrogen.

On 28th January The Future Hamburg Award kicked-off with a virtual press conference. The application process started then and ends on March 31, 2021.

Business Boost in Silicon Valley

This year Future Hamburg Award is partnering with the international innovation platform Plug and Play: The winner of the award will receive a one-month stay at Plug and Play’s Sunnyvale office in Silicon Valley. Within a network of over 400 companies from around the world, the startup will be able to advance its business model and engage with an international community.

What are the main requirements for submitting an entry?

All startups that are not older than 5 years and that have developed a solution for the city of the future can apply. There must be at least a minimum viable product (MVP).
