In Innovation

Enterprise Europe Brussels offers a large panoply of advisory and internationalization services, including commercial, technology and R&DI collaborations. And innovation?

Among the others, one of the core services offered by Enterprise Europe Brussels is related to innovation. With this respect, Enterprise Europe Brussels published in the past an article on the latest innovative trends in business and industry, detected by the Business Innovation Observatory.

The Observatory offers evidence on the latest innovative trends in business and industry emerging in Europe and publishes 2 trend reports every year, drawing on the case studies and the outcome of the workshops/conferences.

For those of might have missed it, Enterprise Europe Brussels provides now an overview of some of the key messages springing from the 5threport (dated back December 2015) and the 6th report (dated back April 2016). And links the detected trends/disruptive innovations with its services offered / actions deployed for the benefit of Brussels-based economic and academia players:

– Space technology and services : some technologies and services can be transferred from the public funded space programmes to other market sectors not directly related to space domains. Typically, the trans-sectorial technology transfer Enterprise Europe Brussels facilitates to stimulate technological innovation

  1. Optimal recycling as a part of the circular economy: it can have a multi-faceted positive impact on both the economy as such and the environment. A company mission (Textile goes Circular) took place only some weeks ago towards The Netherland, organised by EEB in collaboration with Brussels GreenTech Network and EEN Netherlands Enterprise Agency.
  2. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)/Drones: the spectrum of possible civilian uses of UAVs includes monitoring and surveillance of environmental, agricultural and fishery operations; security tasks, such as search and rescue support, disaster response, border control, etc. Enterprise Europe Brussels has launched the 2nd edition of the DroneDays B2B event which will take place in Brussels, next March 2017.
