Why this initiative?

Because the European economy is becoming more and more digital and the EC has several open and reusable solutions split under the following categories: Trusted and Secure services, Smart governanceand data management services, Other  (consult the available portfolio HERE ) which have basic capabilities to facilitate the delivery of digital services in an interoperable manner across borders and sectors.

Building on these basic capabilities, this challenge invites participants to shape a concept for a service or solution that could be integrated into their company’s business offering.

By participating in the challenge, SMEs and start-up will :

  • start by first developing a concept of a service or solution that can reinforce their service offering by using standards-based solutions
  • Co-create with coaches from the EC
  • Pitch their idea to a jury at the award ceremony, win up to EUR 50.000

The call for application will close on 28 February 2020.
