In Innovation, research

The goal of the STARS project is to design, to develop and to test a resilient support tool, to be applied for patients, planned for surgery, with the aim of reducing stress and anxiety as well as improving the health condition of the patient during the complete care path.

Reduction of the stress, experienced by patients, will lower the harmful side effects of sedating drugs, shorten hospital stay, shorten recovery time and relieve carers and related persons from continuous assistance.

STARS project started in 2017 and will end in June 2022. Now the two solutions developed in the last two years are in the clinical testing phase. More information about both solutions can be found HERE

The STARS project will present the results of the clinical testing phase at the online final conference, next  22 June 2022.

More information and the registration link will follow in May 2022. But if you are already interested you can send a mail for pre-registration EEN colleague in Germany: Juan Carmona-Schneider jc(at)zenit.de
