At the EEN Annual Conference that took place in Bilbao from 14 to 17 November 2023 the Enterprise Europe Network presented a series of cascade funding opportunities for SMEs that wish to get support in their process towards sustainable entrepreneurship.
What is cascade funding?
The cascade funding principle is based on awards that have been granted to EC project consortia in standard open calls. Selected projects can decide to distribute part of the budget to third parties in the framework of competitive calls launched by the project.
Third partners can enter in contract with these projects and benefit from equity free funding to support activities related to access to experts and testing facilities, technology experiments, acceleration and integration into ongoing projects.
Where to find cascade funding opportunities?
An overview of current cascade funding opportunities can be found on the Funding and Tender portal of the European Commission. More information can also be found here.
