The coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and pandemic has caused an unseen global economic slowdown.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have been especially impacted, and the crisis and its effects are threatening business activities, and often leads to supply chain disruptions.
The European Commission in cooperation with the Enterprise Europe Network is calling on SMEs in Europe to share their experiences of how the coronavirus pandemic is affecting them. More specifically the survey focuses on supply chain disruptions, and on how SMEs can be supported in relations to supply chain disruptions.
The purpose of this excercise is to gather timely information that will help the European Commission to calibrate its policies for recovery. The responses collected will more specifically be used by the Rapid Alert Function of the European Commission that aims at adressing supply chain related problems of European companies.
In addition, SMEs filling in the survey can ask for further support by existing European business support networks.
