On 1st September, the E-BOOST consortium opened a wave of calls for proposals targeting SMEs in the electro-mobility sector. Can you benefit from the E-BOOST funding for mobility SMEs? Which types of support are available?

E-BOOST Innovation Support Services funding for mobility SMEs

First of all is the “Innovation Support Services” call. The E-BOOST consortium is offering Innovation Support Services Lump sum for start-ups, SMEs and Small mid-caps from the electromobility sector. Applicants can submit a proposal to fund 7 types of Innovation Support Services:

  1. Intellectual, industrial, and commercial property: External services to support beneficiaries to get advice or protect their intellectual, industrial, and commercial property.
  2. Market studies: External services to support market research blending consumer behaviour and economic trends to confirm and improve the business idea.
  3. Life Cycle Analysis: External service to assess the environmental footprint of an Innovation through a Life Cycle Analysis.
  4. Project submission to EU or national funding programs: External service to provide beneficiaries support to submit their own project to European or national funding programs.
  5. Human Resources: External services to provide beneficiaries support to specific Human Resources needs.
  6. Internationalisation for Canada: Attendance to a conference/event in Canada to develop business. Support from a consultancy agency to design an internationalisation strategy to reach new clients/partners to Canada.
  7. Internationalisation for USA: Attendance to a conference/event in USA to develop business. Support from a consultancy agency to design an internationalisation strategy to reach new clients/partners to USA.
    • You do not need to already be a beneficiary of E-BOOST funding to apply to these calls

E-BOOST Innovative Communication Tools funding for existing beneficiaries

In addition, another funding opportunity was also opened for existing beneficiaries of E-BOOST funding, the “Development of Innovative Communication Tools for E-BOOST Open Calls beneficiaries”. This call will showcase the Products & Services developed through E-BOOST open calls by highlighting beneficiaries and their results. Proposals are expected to contribute to the following expected outcomes:

  • Communicate the beneficiary projects of each E-BOOST Products & Services open calls
  • Promote the innovative solutions presented by the beneficiaries in Products & Services open calls
  • Disseminate the different open calls launched by E-BOOST project
  • Explain the methodology of the E-BOOST project to enable application for the open calls
  • Communicate the final results of the E-BOOST project to stakeholders
    • These calls are reserved for existing beneficiaries of E-BOOST funding
