The RESIST ( REsilience through Sustainable processes and production for the European automotive InduSTry ) – Euroclusters project aims to provide through its open call financial support to European SMEs, start-ups and/or mid-cap companies working in the Mobility, Transport and Automotive ecosystem (MTA) to develop more sustainable production tools leading to economic success and resilience. The RESIST Eurocluster may sound familizr to our readers, as we already published an article in July 2023 on the first cascade funding call launched by RESIST and focusing on internationalisation activities – it is not to late to apply, the last cut-off date is on 20 December 2024! This time, the RESIST Eurocluster will offer a funding of 320 000€ to SMEs working in the mobility ecosystem to succeed in their digital and green transition. Do you have projects that need funding? With this new cascade funding call, the RESIST Eurocluster will offer a funding of 320 000€ to SMEs working in the mobility ecosystem to succeed in their digital and green transition thanks to personalized and targeted services. The selected SMEs will receive co-funding for innovation projects, coaching and mentoring services, networking, training, and internationalisation services. Participating companies will also get access to key information and studies such as future challenges, opportunities and benefits from greening and digitizing production, internationalisation needs; and they meet potential business partners from an alternative ecosystem.
Applicants have the possibility to apply:
- Individually, to receive a financial support of maximum 20 000€ per SME.
- In a consortium of 2 to maximum 3 SMEs from at least two different regions to receive financial support of maximum 30 000€ per SME (from SMP countries) and address one of the following challenges:
- Optimised digitalisation in my company through the incorporation of advanced technologies in the MTA: the challenge is looking for more digital solutions in the company to cope with the accelerating transition in the ecosystem and to improve the quality of their work. The aim is to reduce the mental load through technological means and production system (e.g Human machine Interface HMI).
- Provide innovative solutions to obtain greener production systems or greener products: The challenge is to help beneficiaries accessing new business opportunities in order to have greener production. The aim is to have a better impact in the MTA production and to develop circular economy to help SMEs, start-ups and very-small businesses (VSBs), companies achieving long-term societal, environmental and competitive objectives.
- Turning to renewable energy innovations in my production line: the challenge is looking for solutions to face the issues related to the increase of energy prices and the need companies have of modifying their consumption.
Up to 20 projects will obtain support up to 30,000€ for each SME.
The deadline to apply for the call is 12 December 2023.
