Hang on to your hat, their project will knock your socks off!

NOOSA’s R-SOCK project selected under SME Instrument

Brussels SME NOOSA just received the good news that their project R-SOCK had been funded under the EuroBoosTex call, itself under the SME Instrument.

R-SOCK is a collaborative project between NOOSA™ and NOLT (a French SME specialized in sustainable sport apparel). It seeks to redefine the sport socks industry by applying circularity to this product. It will set a model for other sectors and contributing to government policies supporting sustainable initiatives.

Their selection under the EuroBoosTex competitive procedure not only illustrates the excellence of their project, but also the potential impact of this solution on the textile sector. NCP Brussels and Enterprise Europe Brussels were proud to help out in the application process by offering process clarifications, partner search support and proof reading of the application.

Luna Aslan, co-founder of NOOSA: “As a startup, we are grateful to NCP Brussels and EEB for their ongoing support since our inception. Their expertise and assistance have enabled us to better grasp the requirements and expectations of European projects, which is crucial for a young and innovative company. Today, as we strive to bring about systemic change, European support is crucial to achieving our goals.”

NOOSA’s fiber’s potential has already been recognized by the Solar Impulse Foundation in 2021. Their expertise was also highlighted during the closing day of the Brussels 2023 “Shifting Economy Week”, in November 2023.
