EU Survey for SMEs about an e-translation tool to make it easier for them to produce multilingual websites.

The European Commission plans to make it easier for businesses to publish their website in several languages by providing an automatic translation tool based on eTranslation (the Commission’s automated translation service, which is currently used by the European institutions and thousands of public administrations and SMEs across the EU).

The Commission would be very pleased to receive feedback from SMEs to better understand their needs and use cases for website translation.

Respondents are invited to try out the e-translation tool before completing the short survey. The Commission is also looking for volunteers to participate in the pilot phase of the website translation solution. Businesses will be able to express an interest for this in their response to the survey.

The European Commission is seeking responses directly from SMEs for a survey on e-translation for multilingual websites.
