The Commission is currently running an open public consultation on instant payments.

SMEs play an important part in fostering the provision and use of instant payments.

They can be:

users of instant payments (e.g. bank customers, online retailers, owners of physical stores) or
providers of instant payments (e.g. payment service providers and providers of related technical services) of instant payments.

Please take part in the consultation

The consultation is open till 23 June 2021.
