The fund offers partial reimbursements of trade mark, design and patent application fees as well as IP Scan services throughout 2022-2024. Each SME can save up to EUR 2 250 per application.

Consultation on the New Legislative Framework

In that case, you will already be dealing with procedures under the New Legislative Framework (NLF) – which sets out principles/overall rules for product legislation/conformity assessment in the EU. It also clarifies the use of CE marking and creates a toolbox of measures for use in product legislation. Decision No 768/2008/EC and Regulation (EC) No 765/2008 together are called the NLF.
The European Commission is currently evaluating this legislation and would therefore be very pleased to hear your views, experiences and suggestions.

EU and WTO members strike major deal to simplify trade in services
A group of 67 World Trade Organization (WTO) members, including the EU, have today concluded negotiations on a landmark agreement to cut red tape in services trade. The so-called Joint Initiative on Services Domestic Regulation will simplify unnecessarily complicated regulations and ease procedural hurdles faced by SMEs in particular. This agreement will help reduce the costs of global services trade by more than USD 150 billion every year.
